Embraer Showcases Innovative Aircraft Portfolio at Japan Aerospace Exhibition

At the 2024 Japan International Aerospace Exhibition, Embraer is displaying its comprehensive range of aircraft, spotlighting the E-Jet family and the military C-390 Millennium. With an eye on growth in Japan’s market, Embraer is focusing on the increasing demand for planes under 150 seats, a sector it already serves well with 47 E-Jets operating in the country. The Brazilian manufacturer is also presenting advances in electric air mobility through its Eve Air Mobility unit, reinforcing its commitment to sustainable aviation solutions.

The exhibition, running from October 16 to 19 in Tokyo, marks a strategic moment for Embraer to strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific market. The company forecasts a need for approximately 300 new aircraft in Japan over the next 20 years, as regional airlines increasingly opt for smaller, more efficient jets to meet growing demand.

In addition to commercial aircraft, Embraer is promoting its defense capabilities, with the versatile C-390 Millennium taking center stage. Known for its reliability and multi-role capabilities, the C-390 has already gained interest from various international military clients. The company’s advancements in sustainability and future air mobility, represented by Eve’s electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, further demonstrate Embraer’s forward-looking approach to aviation innovation.
